GSA Thomas Foley Courthouse
November 21, 2014The conceptual study proposes simple modifications, which will enhance and blend with the early post-modern design of the existing Thomas S. Foley building constructed in 1967:
Improvements to Horan Plaza with new site furnishings, seating and redesigned tree planters which improve sight lines
A bold and simple new entry canopy and storefront facade create an open and welcoming building entrance
Redesign of security stations to create a safe and secure layout that also improves queuing and circulation.
Removal of clutter/out of place furnishings with reorganized lobby seating areas that contain new furniture, display cases and lighting
A new signage program introduces clear and consistent wayfinding along with new LCD monitor information displays
