Ansel Adams Center

November 21, 2014
Located in the heart of San Francisco’s revitalized art district, this design of the gallery, bookstore, and administration spaces for the Ansel Adams Center and the Friends of Photography expresses the original concrete frame building with all of the structural elements exposed. The various office and gallery spaces will feature both natural and controlled lighting to maximize viewing and security. The bookstore is situated to have a strong visual presence to pedestrian traffic and features wood-and-metal construction, and floor-to-ceiling shelving systems. The photo galleries embody a refined quality through the inclusion of new white walls and concrete floors.
